April 6th, 2013 - Bryson Motorsports team driver, Eric Cooley, finally dodged Mother Nature over the weekend and took his #33c Barry Wright Super Late Model into battle at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in a Weekly Racing Series Event at the 3/8 mile oval.

With twenty-four Super Late Models entered Cooley blazed to fast time honors in qualifications to lock into the pole position for the main event with Dylan Ames joining him on the front row. Cooley led from the drop of the green flag and set a blistering pace as he had lapped up to the sixth position by late in the race when disaster struck. As Cooley was navigating lapped traffic through the final corner a slide job gone bad was executed by Dylan Ames, which sent Cooley hard into the wall. He would come to a stop ten feet from the finish line, where he was credited with a disappointing sixth place finish as the final car on the lead lap.
