aMay 30th, 2015 - On Friday night Eric Cooley returned to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) in his Super and Crate Late Model to pull double duty. Via a 9th place starting spot in his A-Main, Eric Cooley found a way to wheel the #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright/Clements Racing Engine Crate Late Model to victory lane.  In his Super Late Model, Eric started pole in the A-Main feature and managed to pull off a 2nd place finish.

The following night brought Eric Cooley to Moulton Speedway (Danville, Alabama) to compete in both his Super and Crate Late Model once again. After setting the fast time in qualifying, Eric went on to win the A-Main Super Late Model event. The same night in his Crate, Eric started 2nd in the feature and found a way to capture his second victory of the night.

aMay 24th, 2015 - Following a rained out show at Moulton Speedway last weekend, Eric Cooley resumed racing action this weekend at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi). With 32 qualifiers signed up for Saturday night’s Salute To The Navy 40, Eric went on to record a pretty successful night. After starting in 17th place for the NeSmith Chevrolet feature, Eric worked his way up the field to achieve a 4th place finish in the 40-lap event.

Sunday night’s NeSmith Late Model Series race at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) was postponed to September 6th due to the weather.

aMay 9th, 2015 - Eric Cooley entered a single event over the weekend as he took part in a $2,500-to-win event at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday evening. The program was co-sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS).

A stout field of 47 entries took part in the event, and Eric started the night by qualifying 3rd fastest in his group to earn the 2nd spot for his heat race. He went on to win his heat race to earn the pole position for the feature. The 40 lap finale found Cooley battling the setup as he slipped to a 9th place finish.

aMay 2nd, 2015 - Eric Cooley was a busy man over the weekend as he competed in a doubleheader of racing action on Friday and Saturday night at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) in his Bryson Motorsports Crate Late Model and Super Late Model.

On Friday night a $2,000 top prize was posted for the Super Late Model competitors in the unsanctioned event. Eric earned a spot for the feature via preliminary action and would ultimately record a 7th place finish.

NeSmith Late Model Series competition found a stout field of fifty-five competitors registering for action. Cooley blazed to the 5th fastest time in qualifications to lock into the 5th starting spot for the finale. In the main event he raced to a 4th place finish behind race winner, William Thomas, Chase Edge, and Ronnie Johnson.

Saturday evening found the Southern All Star (SAS) thundering into town to sanction the Super Late Model portion of the program. With $4,000 on the line Cooley qualified for the finale, but retired early with mechanical issues. He was credited with a 25th place finish.

In NeSmith Late Model action Eric topped all challengers in qualifications with a 15.161 second lap around the 1/3 mile oval. His lap earned him the pole position for the $2,500-to-win feature. Eric led the first two laps before seeing Matt Henderson and Tyler Clem slip past. Cooley lurked in the top five throughout the feature before surging to a second place finish behind race winner, Ronnie Johnson at the checkered flag.
