Eric took his #33b Bryson Motorsports/Barry Wright Super Late Model into battle against a field of twenty-four entries. 1On Saturday night the Bryson Motorsports team traveled to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) for another $2,000-to-win Super Late Model program. Eric timed in second overall during qualifications, which once again positioned him starting outside-front-row for the feature event. When the race went green, fellow front row starter Kyle Beard bolted to the race lead. While Cooley kept Beard within striking distance throughout much of the race he was never able to make a challenge for the top spot and settled into a second place finish.
