1October 27, 2018 - Eric Cooley was one of 43 Super Late Models signed in at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the 24th annual Coors Light Fall Classic. Following the 13th fastest time in his qualifying group, Cooley recorded a 6th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday night for another shot at the main event. Needing to place 4th or better to make the $15,000-to-win finale, Eric scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 21st on the starting grid for the A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top-10 finish, Eric Cooley improved ten spots in the 75-lap affair to place 11th.

1October 20, 2018 - Saturday night found Eric Cooley in action at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama) for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Earning the 5th-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Cooley improved three spots to place 2nd.

1October 13, 2018 - Kicking off the two-day Deep Fried 75, Eric Cooley was one of 36 Super Late Models signed in at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday night for the two-day event. Following the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group, Cooley posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Eric Hickerson. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $14,500-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Eric gained four spots in the 75-lap affair reeling in a 7th place finish.

1October 6, 2018 - On Friday evening Eric Cooley invaded Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) for the two-day Gumbo Nationals. With 36 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) entries on hand, Eric earned the 20th-starting position for the opening night feature via preliminary events. Breaking into the Top-5, Cooley advanced through the field 15 spots to place 5th behind Tyler Erb, Brian Rickman, B.J. Robinson, and Dane Dacus.

Returning on Saturday night, Cooley failed to lock his spot into the show via his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Streaking to a consolation victory, Eric locked into the 17th-starting position for the $8,000-to-win finale. Improving nine spots in the 70-lap affair, Eric Cooley reeled in an 8th place outing.
