1November 24, 2018 - Friday night saw Eric Cooley return to action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series (DLCS) season finale. With 54 cars on hand for the annual Possum Town Grand Prix, Cooley timed in sixth fastest in his qualifying group before placing 5th in his heat race. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the $10,000-to-win finale, steady rainfall overnight wiped out Saturday’s program.

1October 27, 2018 - Eric Cooley was one of 43 Super Late Models signed in at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the 24th annual Coors Light Fall Classic. Following the 13th fastest time in his qualifying group, Cooley recorded a 6th place finish in his heat transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday night for another shot at the main event. Needing to place 4th or better to make the $15,000-to-win finale, Eric scored a 3rd place finish positioning him 21st on the starting grid for the A-Main. Coming one spot shy of a Top-10 finish, Eric Cooley improved ten spots in the 75-lap affair to place 11th.

1October 20, 2018 - Saturday night found Eric Cooley in action at Moulton Speedway (Moulton, Alabama) for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Earning the 5th-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Cooley improved three spots to place 2nd.

1October 6, 2018 - Kicking off the two-day Deep Fried 75, Eric Cooley was one of 36 Super Late Models signed in at Duck River Raceway Park (Wheel, Tennessee) on Friday night for the two-day event. Following the seventh fastest time in his qualifying group, Cooley posted a runner-up finish in his heat behind Eric Hickerson. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $14,500-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Eric gained four spots in the 75-lap affair reeling in a 7th place finish.

1October 6, 2018 - On Friday evening Eric Cooley invaded Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) for the two-day Gumbo Nationals. With 36 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) entries on hand, Eric earned the 20th-starting position for the opening night feature via preliminary events. Breaking into the Top-5, Cooley advanced through the field 15 spots to place 5th behind Tyler Erb, Brian Rickman, B.J. Robinson, and Dane Dacus.

Returning on Saturday night, Cooley failed to lock his spot into the show via his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Streaking to a consolation victory, Eric locked into the 17th-starting position for the $8,000-to-win finale. Improving nine spots in the 70-lap affair, Eric Cooley reeled in an 8th place outing.

1September 30, 2018 - Eric Cooley was one of 32 Crate Late Models signed in at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) on Saturday night for the Durrence Layne Chevrolet Series sanctioned King of Crate 60. Following the sixth fastest time in his qualifying group, Cooley scored a 4th place finish in his heat race positioning him 15th on the starting grid for Sunday’s $5,000-to-win A-Main. 1September 22, 2018 - Friday night found Eric Cooley in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. With a stout field of 57 Super Late Models on hand for the two-day event, Eric dropped one spot in his 10-lap heat race to place 7th. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the opening night feature, Cooley logged an 11th place outing.

Returning on Saturday night for the $12,000 top prize, Cooley came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a 4th place finish giving him one final shot at the finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Eric placed 4th bringing an early end to his weekend.

1August 25, 2018 - On Saturday night Eric Cooley and the Bryson Motorsports team made their 2018 debut at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned program. In a field of 26 cars, Cooley followed up the 11th fastest time in qualifying with a 6th place finish in his B-Main. Starting the $2,500-to-win A-Main in 19th, Eric improved five spots in the 40-lapper to place 14th.

January 17, 2018 - The 2017 season saw Eric Cooley compete in a total of 21 events while visiting victory lane three times. With the weather determining the outcome of three of his scheduled dates, Cooley collected eight Top-10 outings and five Top-5 finishes.

1November 12th, 2017 - On Friday night Eric Cooley headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) powering the Bryson Motorsports #33c Super Late Model for the 43rd annual National 100. Laying down the fourth fastest time in his group, Cooley earned the 8th-starting positions for the opening night feature. After rough track conditions forced race officials to postpone Friday’s feature to Saturday afternoon, Eric slipped back to a 24th place outing in the 43-lap affair.

Returning on Sunday to run a B-Main for another shot at the $20,000-to-win finale, Eric was granted a spot into the main event after the track promoter offered any car a spot into the 100-lapper if they packed the track before the race. After the rain cleared up, Eric Cooley was an early retiree from the feature while being credited with a 16th place outing. Only six cars out of the 24 started completed the A-Main.

1November 4th, 2017 - Eric Cooley made the trip to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Friday night for the All American 60. With 27 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Cooley scored a 4th place finish in his heat race earning him the 15th-starting position for the $7,500-to-win A-Main on Saturday night. Dropping two spots in the 60-lap affair, Eric registered a 17th place outing.

1October 28th, 2017 - Kicking off the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic, Eric Cooley headed to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the unsanctioned weekend. In a field of 42 cars, Cooley came up two spots short of a transfer position in his heat with a 6th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main on Saturday for another shot at the feature, Eric scored a runner-up finish behind Cade Dillard positioning him 20th on the starting grid for the feature. 1September 23rd, 2017 - Friday night found Eric Cooley in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. Drawing 42 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned weekend, Cooley held his spot in his heat race to place 7th. Slated to start 6th in his B-Main on Saturday evening, Eric headed home Friday evening after experiencing issues in his 12-lap heat.

1September 9th, 2017 - Eric Cooley traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Governor’s Cup. Earning the 14th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Eric gained two spots in the 40-lapper logging a 12th place finish.

January 24th, 2017 - Traveling to a total of 29 events during the 2016 season, Eric Cooley reeled in three feature wins in his Super Late Model and one in the Crate Late Model division. Losing only three of his dates to bad weather, Cooley posted 23 Top 10 finishes and 16 Top 5 outings.
