1November 12th, 2017 - On Friday night Eric Cooley headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) powering the Bryson Motorsports #33c Super Late Model for the 43rd annual National 100. Laying down the fourth fastest time in his group, Cooley earned the 8th-starting positions for the opening night feature. After rough track conditions forced race officials to postpone Friday’s feature to Saturday afternoon, Eric slipped back to a 24th place outing in the 43-lap affair.

Returning on Sunday to run a B-Main for another shot at the $20,000-to-win finale, Eric was granted a spot into the main event after the track promoter offered any car a spot into the 100-lapper if they packed the track before the race. After the rain cleared up, Eric Cooley was an early retiree from the feature while being credited with a 16th place outing. Only six cars out of the 24 started completed the A-Main.

1November 4th, 2017 - Eric Cooley made the trip to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Friday night for the All American 60. With 27 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Cooley scored a 4th place finish in his heat race earning him the 15th-starting position for the $7,500-to-win A-Main on Saturday night. Dropping two spots in the 60-lap affair, Eric registered a 17th place outing.
